As SGC continues to grow we have introduced two new positions into our group,
being Operations Manager and Training Coordinator. We are pleased to announce
that both of these key roles have been filled by internal promotions.

Congratulations to Liz Pugsley who has been appointed our new Operations Manager.
Liz joined SGC in 1994 after she had completed her Bachelor of Applied Science at
Edith Cowan University and she has been the core of SGC’s IT and data processing
world for the last 7 years in the position of IT Manager. Liz brings a wealth of knowledge
about our business to this new role and will be involved in initiating and coordinating
strategies in business development, workflow, productivity and quality assurance to
ensure that SGC continues to provide the highest standards of work for which it is renown.

Congratulations are also in order for Russell McChesney who has been promoted to
the position Geophysicist/Training Coordinator. In addition to his ongoing Technical
Projects Russell will also be responsible for initiating and coordinating the technical
training requirements for our growing team of staff and consultants which currently
numbers 35. Russell completed his B Sc (Hons) in Geophysics at Curtin University
of Technology in 1999 and gained a significant amount of training experience as well
as technical knowledge before joining SGC in January 2010.
