Roberto Maritn Alvarez Hostos, graduated with an Honours degree in Geophysicist in 2004.

He started his career in the oil and gas industries with Baker Hughes Atlas, working on well logging data acquisition and processing. After one year, he moved on to join Geohidra Consultores (Venezuela), gaining experiences in on-land and offshore prospecting methods. Main area of his work involved the integration of geophysical data for geotechnical purposes.

In 2009 he move to Australia to work in the mineral exploration industries, involving EM data acquisition in remote locations. Roberto joined Southern Geoscience Consultants in August 2011, where his main tasks include processing and imaging of airborne geophysical data.
